TNR - TRAP/NEUTER/RELEASE
Free-roaming feral cats are trapped, sterilized (males are neutered and females are spayed), and returned to the outdoor locations where they were found. If those locations are deemed unsafe or otherwise inappropriate, the cats may be relocated to barns or farmyard homes and are often considered ideal.
